Greetings from Universiti Utara Malaysia!
On behalf of the organizing committee, I am pleased to invite you or your representative to the ASEA UNINET Sustainability Issues Workshop, organized by Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM) in collaboration with ASEA-UNINET, which will be held on 28 – 29 August 2018 at the UUM Kuala Lumpur (UUMKL), Malaysia. The main purpose of the workshop is to better understand the issues and challenges with regards to sustainability and to identify ways of how scientific collaboration can contribute to various aspects of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
The workshop also aims to produce publications in the form of a volume that will be published after the workshop (Please refer to attachment for complete program details). Hence, prior to attending this workshop, the nominated participants must prepare a brief overview of the sustainability (i.e. Economic, Social and Environment) issues that relates to their field of interest. With the expertise in your respective field, we are confident that you will be able to provide input regarding your own disciplines around sustainability issues. It is our hope that your enthusiasm and inputs will lead to a fruitful discussion and the outcome in a form of a publication will be a success. In addition, the workshop aims at providing a platform for networking and initiation of joint research projects.
Enclosed please find the itinerary for the workshop at: https://bit.ly/TentativeAseaUninet2018. Kindly register your participation before 31st July 2018 at:https://bit.ly/ASEAUNINET-KL
