On 6 November 2017, Prof. Tran Tho Dat, President of National Economics University paid a visit to Paris Nanterre University in France and attended the Graduation Ceremony of Master of Human Resource Management intake 3.
Paris Nanterre University is a multidisciplinary state university which offers 268 majors including economics and management, law, IT, social science,… Paris Nanterre University currently has over 1000 lecturers and researchers, 600 staff, 12000 students, graduates on yearly basis. A few alumni of Paris Nanterre University are senior politicians, businessmen, researchers in France such as Emmanuel Macro, President of France; Christine Lagarde, Managing Director of IMF; Nicolas Sarkozy, Dominique de Villepin, Former President of France; Maurice Felix Charles Allais, the winner of the Nobel Memorial Prize in Economics, and etc.
Attending the ceremony, there also were Associate Prof. Dr. Le Trung Thanh, Dean of Graduate School; Associate Prof. Dr. Ta Van Loi, School of International Trade and Economics; Associate Prof. Dr. Vu Thanh Huong, Deputy Head of Development Research Center; MSc. Do Thu Ha - Deputy Head of Accounting and Auditing Department.
On behalf of Paris Nanterre University, Prof. Sonia Lehman-Frisch, Vice President appreciated the relationship between two universities during the last years, especially in the joint training program "Master of Human Resource Management" . Prof. Sonia Lehman-Frisch hoped to boost partnership between Paris Nanterre University and National Economics University in the coming years.
Addressing at the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat presented a special thanks to Paris Nanterre University for very warm welcome. He also expected to upgrade the cooperation program quality and strengthen National Economics University - Paris Nanterre University relationship.
On behalf of graduates, MSc. Le Hai Yen sincerely thanked lecturers, management staff for their great support during the past time.
After the ceremony, Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat had a meeting with Prof. Sonia Lehman-Frisch; Prof. Marianne Cojannot, Deputy Dean of Faculty of Social Science and other staff of Paris Nanterre University; a meeting with Prof. Jean Francois, President of Paris Nanterre University, and visited the campus then.
