Within the framework of the trip to Laos, the delegation of National Economics University led by Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hieu visited and worked with the Board of Directors of the National University of Laos. Associate Professor Dr. Dexanourath Seneduangdeth –Vice President of National University of Laos, welcomed the National University of Economics delegation.

Attending the meeting, from the National University of Economics, there were Associate Professor Dr. Vu Thanh Huong – Vice Dean of the NEU Graduate School; Dr. Dao Thanh Tung - Head of International Cooperation Department. On the side of Lao National University, there were Mr. Amkheng Phenglasy - Head of International Relations Department; Associate Professor Dr. Kaisone Phengsopha - Head of Postgraduate Training Department; Associate Professor Dr. Souklaty Sysaneth - Head of Research and Training Management Department; Associate Professor Dr. Khamphout Phommasone - Principal of Vientiane School for the Gifted and staff.

Welcoming the delegation of National Economics University, Associate Professor Dr. Dexanourath Seneduangdeth – Vice President of National University of Laos, expressed his joy to welcome the delegation led by Associate Professor Nguyen Thanh Hieu – Vice President of National University of Economics. The Vice Director of the National University of Laos affirmed that the two schools had a very special relationship. Many officials and students of the National University of Laos also had study, research and exchange experiences with universities in Vietnam, including the National University of Economics. He hopes that the two universities will strengthen relationships, exchange and learn from each other, in which the National University of Economics will support the National University of Laos to improve training and research capacity in economics, management, and business administration in the near future. Associate Professor Dexanourath Seneduangdeth also wants the National Economics University and the National University of Laos to increase the training and exchange of students and graduate students. On the occasion of the Vietnamese Teachers' Month, the Vice Director sent wishes of health and goodwill from the lecturers of the National University of Laos to the lecturers of National Economics University.

In response, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hieu - Vice President of National Economics University, respectfully thanked the warm welcome and affection of the National University of Laos for the delegation. The Vice President of the National Economics University affirmed that the National Economics University always respects and has special affection for the Lao students and the National University of Laos. Associate Professor Nguyen Thanh Hieu agreed with the Vice President of the National University of Laos on the need to strengthen cooperative activities between the two Universities. The Vice President of the National University of Laos believes that the training needs and capacity of the fields still have much room for cooperation prospects between the two sides, especially in the fields of undergraduate and postgraduate training and technology transfer. Associate Professor Nguyen Thanh Hieu sent respectful greetings and an invitation to visit the National Economics University from Professor Pham Hong Chuong to Professor President and Board of Directors of National University of Laos. The Vice President, on behalf of the Board of Directors of the National University of Laos, happily accepted the invitation.

At the meeting, the two sides spent a lot of time discussing areas of cooperation according to each side's strengths.
