OVERVIEW
Internationalization and international cooperation on training have become an inevitable trend in higher education institutions around the world. In the increasingly competitive environment, the quality and efficiency of international joint training programsassumes greater importance to ensure that its benefit penetrates deepinto the grass root-level of each higherinstitution. Quality and efficiency are connected and go hand-in-hand to the extent one affects the other. There are numerous challenges that hinder the quest for quality and efficiency and we need to take up these challenges to ensure the prospects for improving the consequences of internationalizing higher education programs.
The International Conference on "Quality and efficiency of international joint training programs" hosted by National Economics University (NEU) in Hanoi aims to provide a discussion forum that would benefit university leaders, program managers, policy-makers, researchers, lecturers, students, and all like-minded people aspiring to uphold the quality and efficiency of higher education programs as per the international standards.
CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES
The specific objectives of the conference are as follows:
- To build a network of individuals fromhigher education institutions who aspire to uphold the quality and efficiency of higher education programs;
- To build a quality and efficiency mindset for higher education administrators at all levels;
- To sharecase studies, experiences, and practicalsolutions on continuous quality and efficiency improvement journeys from practitioners across higher education institutions in Vietnam and other countries;
- To provide recommendations for policy makers in education of Vietnam to revise their curent legal framework on managing joint training programs.
CONFERENCE TOPICS
Entire range of concepts from theory to best practice, including case studies, work-in-progress, and conceptual exploration might be submitted under the following topics, but not be limited, to:
- Experiences and solutions to promote quality of international joint training programs in an internationalized and competitive environment;
- Paper must be original, unpublished, well organized, a subject of interest and free from plagiarism;

- The cover page should be placed at first separately including Title, Name of Author(s) and Institutional Affiliation;
- Paper requires an abstract of 150-200 words on a separate page. Key words must appear after the abstract on the same page and should not exceed 5 words;
- Paper should be divided into clearly defined sections. Each heading should be numbered 1,2,3… in bold characters and appear on its own separate line.
- Paper without references will not be reviewed. The papers in the reference list must be cited in the text in alphabetical order in the APA format 6th edition;
- All submissions are to be made electronically via email to:conference.icd@neu.edu.vnfor review.
PUBLICATION
Papers submitted to the conference will be reviewed by the conference’s committee before acceptance. Accepted papers will be included in the Conference Proceeding with an ISBN number. Selected best papers may be published in Journal of Economics and Development, NEU (ASEAN Citation Index-ACI).
