A meaningful learning and experiential opportunity was created through a student exchange program between National Economics University (NEU) and NGEE ANN Polytechnic (NP) from March 19 to 30.This is an annual activity held 2 times a year with the participation of students and lecturers from two schools.
As the name of the Program suggests, it offers opportunities for cultural exchange, learning and experience between students of the two countries. With close support from both schools, the program was organized with thorough preparation and engaging activities.
During the 10 days, students participate in Vietnamese language classes to gain a better understanding of Vietnam's language and culture. These classes not only provide an opportunity to improve communication skills but also help students delve deeper into the unique and diverse culture of the country.
Additionally, the program organizes lessons about Vietnamese culture and the business environment. These sessions not only provide knowledge but also raise awareness and consciousness about environmental protection and cultural heritage preservation.
Tours are organized to famous and historical places of Hanoi. The narrow but vibrant streets of the Old Quarter, to the museums in Hanoi, companies. Students can explore and enjoy unique experiences of Vietnam such as watching water puppet shows, going to Duong Lam ancient village.
At the end of the day, students have free time to hang out and explore the city by themselves. This is an opportunity for them to freely relax, interact and create memorable memories with new friends.
The student exchange program between NEU and NP is not only an opportunity to open cultural gates but also a platform to create understanding and connection between generations of students worldwide. Through these activities, we can see that cultural understanding and respect are key to building a peaceful and thriving global community.
