On January 14, 2020, the National Economics University held a discussion on "Economic losses of air pollution and pollution reduction policies" with the participation of policymakers, central agencies, and many economic experts.
Attending the discussion, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen The Chinh - Director of Institute of Strategy, Policy on Natural Resources and Environment, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment; Dr. Hoang Duong Tung - President of Vietnam Clean Air Network, former Deputy General Director of Vietnam Environment Administration, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment.
From the National Economics University, there were Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the School Council and Assoc Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho - Vice President.
The content of the discussion focused on the study of pollution and air pollution management issues in the world and in Vietnam, from different perspectives of stakeholders. Additionally, its focal point was economic aspects - air pollution management policies. The discussion was also an opportunity for experts, delegates, and stakeholders to exchange experiences and discuss related issues.
