On the morning of 22nd August 2020, Faculty of Economics, National Economics University officially organized the 27th Intake Opening Ceremony of the Vietnam-Netherlands Master’s Program with the participation of 24 new students.
Attending the opening ceremony were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho – Secretary of Party Committee, NEU Vice President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ho Dinh Bao – Dean of Faculty of Economics, MA. Do Xuan Dung – Head of Department of Inspection, Heads of other NEU Faculties and Departments together with the appearance of 27th Intake new students.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho appreciated excellent results of 24 new students after a competitive entrance exam. The Vice President shared that despite many changes in Vietnam and the world in 2020, MDE Program was still attractive to a large number of learners. He hoped that the program would continue to make great contributions to train quality-human resources for the society, thus developing NEU reputation.
Student Phung Ngoc Quynh on behalf of 24 new students shared that she and her friends had received enthusiastic support from the coordinators of the program, which helps them have careful preparation before admission. She is honored and proud to be a student of one of the advanced, high-quality graduate programs, especially in the field of economic development. On behalf of the new students, student Phung Ngoc Quynh pledged to study and research actively to have good results, serve work and life effectively.
Over 26 years of training since its establishment, the MDE Program - formerly known as the Vietnam - Netherlands Master's Degree in Economic Development Project, has assumed and implemented the mission of a training and research in the field of Economic Development. Among the master's programs in the country, the MDE Program is rated as "Center of Excellence" with a long history of construction and maturity making many important contributions to train quality-human resources for society.
