On the morning of March 9th, 2021, Assoc.Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong - NEU President had a meeting with the representatives of Japan International Cooperation Agency in Vietnam (JICA) to discuss the possibility of cooperating to implement the JICA CHAIR program.
At the meeting, on the side of Japan International Cooperation Agency in Vietnam (JICA), there were Mr. ISHIMARU Hiroki - Representative of JICA in Vietnam; Ms. Pham Thi Ngoc Diep - the organization member. On the side of the National Economics University, there was a PhD. Dao Thanh Tung - Head of International Cooperation Department.
At the meeting, Mr. ISHIMARU Hiroki - JICA Representative in Vietnam gave a brief introduction about JICA CHAIR program. Accordingly, JICA would send Japanese experts and professors to NEU to organize lectures concerning economics - business and provide internships at Japan for NEU students. The advantage is that the subjects at NEU are related to the business culture of Japan which is relevant to lectures in JICA program. Assoc.Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong emphasized that NEU would actively coordinate to discuss the program at the appropriate time as soon as possible.
