On December 10, 2018, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong - NEU Vice President had a meeting with Ms. Miriam Tardell and Mr. Bjorn Nystrom - EVENT Project Coordinator, Uppsala University, Sweden on the implementation of the EVENT Project at NEU.
The National Economics University also has Mr. Pham Sy Long - Deputy Director of International Cooperation Department; Prof. Dr. Le Quang Canh - Deputy Director of Asia - Pacific Institute of Management.
At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong - NEU Vice President welcomed the distinguished guests who spent their time visiting and working at the National Economics University. He said that the National Economics University was implementing multi-sectoral development strategy as well as developing new fields of trans-disciplines. The University wishes to continue to receive the cooperation and support of Uppsala University and its European partners in the development of new programs. This is also a priority in the Erasmus program.
Also at the meeting, Mr. Bjorn Nystrom - EVENT Project Coordinator, Uppsala University, thanked NEU for his hospitality, and he was delighted to visit the University for the first time. Citizen. He said that EVENT was a project providing jobs for students after graduation, giving priority to students in Vietnam. Uppsala University has collaborated with the Royal Swedish Technical University, the University of Valencia in Spain and the University of Groningen in the Netherlands to help the project be deployed in the best way. In Vietnam, the National Economics University is one of seven schools selected for the purpose of the project. In the coming time, Uppsala University and the Asia-Pacific Institute of Management will continue discussions and discussions to reach a unified agenda.
It is known that the National Economics University participates in implementing the project with two main contents: Co-chairing study to survey graduates and participate in building Career Center at the University.
