On the afternoon of January 22th, 2021, the National Economics University solemnly organized a Graduation Ceremony of Vietnam – Netherlands Master's Program Development Economics for 29 new masters in 23th, 24th and 25th courses.
In the ceremony there were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Hong Chuong - NEU President; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Ho Dinh Bao – the Head of Faculty of Economics; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Trung Thanh – the Director of the Graduate Training Institute; with leaders of functional units, teachers and 29 new masters.
On behalf of the school's leaders, Assoc. Prof.Dr. Pham Hong Chuong warmly congratulated the 29 new masters on their successful graduation and affirmed that was a proud achievement that the new masters deserved after the hard working days of studying at the National Economics University, especially during a year with unprecedented difficulties and challenges by the Covid-19 pandemic. Assoc.Prof.Dr. Pham Hong Chuong believed that in the process of studying and researching at the University, the new masters were equipped with both theoretical knowledge and skills in solving practical problems. The president emphasized scientific products they achieved was the crystallization of wisdom and passion for science.
Over the past 27 years of establishment and development, up to now, the MDE Program has trained hundreds of qualified masters in economic fields, which has made a substantial contribution to the country. Many graduates have become lecturers at universities, researchers, economic policy-makers, leaders, and outstanding experts for the country. They have been achieving good results and are highly appreciated. Many of the program's students are currently working and studying abroad and are highly appreciated for their research capabilities. Moreover, the program has contributed to enhancing educational cooperation between National Economics University and the Dutch Academy of Social Sciences in training management and exchange of experiences.
