NEU delegation led by Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat - NEU President visited Andrews University, USA and attended the MOA Signing Ceremony on Master Program in Business Administration between the two institutions.
Attending the ceremony, from Andrew University, there were Dr. Andrea Luxton - President, Dr. Christon Arthur - Provost of Andrews University, Dr. Ralph Trecartin - Associate Provost, Dean of School of Business Administration, Dr. Keith Mattingly - Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences , Dr. Alayne Thorpe - Dean of Distance Education, Dean of Graduate Studies, Dr. Christian Stuart - Assistant Professor of English and Director of Center for Intensive English Programs.
At the meeting, the two Presidents discussed how to develop the joint Master Degree's program in Business Administration and seek for other cooperative activities to enhance the relationship between the two universities in general and among NEU Business School and other Schools of Andrew University. In addition, the two leaders also mentioned some such kinds of collaborative activities as joint research, student exchange, staff exchange, summer school and other activities to tighten the cooperative relation between NEU and AU.
At the MOA Signing Ceremony, Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat - NEU President expressed his pleasure at witnessing the progress in educational cooperation between the two institutions. The Memorandum of Agreement would mark a significant step in the development of the cooperation between the two Universities. The NEU President would like to express their sincere thanks to the leaders of Andrews University for their remarkable hospitality and assistance during NEU delegation's stay in America. The President believed that the cooperation between the two schools will be effective in the future.
Dr. Luxton, on behalf of Andrew University expressed her thank you Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat in particular and the National Economics University in general for supporting the development of the cooperative relationship between the two sides. Dr. Luxton hoped that MBA cooperation between AU and NEU would be the first step to strengthen other collaborative activities between the two parties in the near future.
