On May 9, 2019, National Economics University cooperated with Hung Vuong University and Khon Kaen University (Thailand) to organize the International Science Conference on Social Sciences and Humanities. 10th with the topic "Socio-Economic and Environmental Issues in Development”. This is an annual conference held in Vietnam and Thailand on "Socio-Economic and Environmental Issues in Development” in the context of cooperation and integration.
Attending at the conference, on the side of the central, local ministries and branches, Dr. Hoang Xuan Hoa - Assistant to the Politburo member and Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue; Dr. Pham Ngoc Thang - Director of General Department of Economic - Central Economic Committee; Ms. Luu Bich Ngoc - Chief of Office, Office of National Council for Education and Human Resources Development and leaders of departments in Phu Tho province.
On the side of National Economics University, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Ha - Chairman of the University Council; Prof. Dr. Phan Cong Nghia - former Vice President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. To Trung Thanh - Head of Administration Department; Prof. Dr. Dinh Duc Truong - Head of Environment, Climate Change and Urban Department; together with representatives of departments, boards and lecturers of the school. On the side of Hung Vuong University, there is Dr. Trinh The Truyen - President; Dr. Do Tung - Vice President; with the university scientists. On the side of Khon Kaen University, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sutida Ngonkum - Deputy Head of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities; Assoc. Prof. Ratanna Chanthao - Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities; with the faculty and students of the University. The workshop is also honored to receive the participation of Prof. Dr. Hsu Hui Huang - Counselor of Science and Technology, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Vietnam and over 200 domestic and international delegates from Taiwan, Thailand, Laos and Myanmar.
Speaking at the seminar, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Ha - Chairman of the University Council affirmed: “International Conference on ‘Economic - Social Environmental Issues in distribution grow’ in the 10th development held at Hung Vuong University is an important international scientific forum, answering the issues raised in the context of international integration and industrial revolution 4.0 today. In particular, quality of the articles at this conference are greatly increased, along with the diversity in topics, research directions as well as the interest in discoveries and results. All of this proves the prestige and position of the seminar, the interest of the scientists in the region with the desire to share and connect to increase more and more towards sustainability”. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Ha emphasized that the economic, social and environmental issues and challenges posed to countries in Southeast Asia in the context of globalization and the revolution of technology 4.0. He also offers suggestions and implications to scientists about the development and planning of development policies at regional, national, local and joint levels. Assoc. Prof. Dr Nguyen Thanh Ha on behalf of National Economics University also sent thanks to the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities - Khon Khaen University; Department of Environment, Climate Change and Urban - Hung Vuong University in organizing seminars and connecting scientists.
Welcome to the Conference, Dr. Trinh The Truyen - Hung Vuong University President expressed his joy to welcome local and international delegates, scientists, lecturers and students to attend. Dr. Tinh The Truyen affirmed: “The Southeast Asia region is facing great opportunities and challenges in the development process when the international economic integration is increasingly deepened among countries and nations. Industrial revolution 4.0 with the foundation of digital, artificial intelligence and smart technology and modern education trends contribute to improve the thinking, intellectual and skill capacity of human resources in the context of new development. All are connected and shared with each other to open up the spaces and form new development resources. This International Scientific Conference is organised as a forum for experts and scientists to share their views, views and findings on existing issues, find solutions. for policy tools and solutions to cope with development issues, towards a more stable, effective and sustainable region, country and region.
The workshop received the attention of numerous domestic and international scientists with 120 articles from 150 authors from 7 countries in the region. The workshop presentations are diverse and there are many new discoveries, attracting the attention of many scientists in the region with the desire to share and connect knowledge more and more, together with towards sustainable development of the region.
