The AACSB accreditation standards requires participating schools to have good, quantitative control over activities; and use that as a basis to continuously improve and improve the quality of education.
To be accredited under the AACSB, an institution must first be eligible for accreditation, and after the external assessment must meet all the requirements of the quality standards set forth by the AACSB. Conditions for participating in the AACSB test include:
First, is an official member of AACSB. In order to become a member, it is necessary to complete the enrollment application and provide all information about the collegiate institution as required by the AACSB.
Second, there are at least one baccalaureate and/or graduate degree programs in business administration, management, or accounting (AACSB does not accredit training programs at college level or below).
Third, accreditation programs must have sufficient continuing resources to conduct training. Training programs that lack the right faculty, library and other facilities... will not be eligible to register for accreditation by AACSB.
Fourth, all business administration training programs in different places of the same collegiate institution must be accredited at the same time. If a program is removed, there must be a reason, prior notice and approval of the AACSB. This regulation AACSB accreditation is intended to prevent schools from having certain good programs, which are AACSB-accredited, and then use this designation to open other programs in different localities that do not meet the accreditation requirements.
