In the afternoon of 30th October 2020, as the academic year 2020-2021 starts, the National Economics University organized a meeting to welcome international freshman at G Hall.
Attending the meeting were Mr. Outhay Bannavong – First Secretary of Education Culture Office, Embassy of the Lao People's Democratic Republic in Vietnam, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho – NEU Secretary of Party Committee, Vice President together with Heads of NEU Faculties and Departments and 68 international freshmen.
Speaking at the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho welcomed 68 new international students who have officially become new members of the NEU family. He said that new students from Laos and Cambodia have just arrived at NEU with confusedness, but with the help of their teachers, classmates and other seniors, they would confidently immerse themselves in a new learning environment and study well.
Inspire of the impacts of the Covid-19 epidemic, National Economics University has always accompanied all students in general and international students in particular to overcome difficulties caused by the pandemic. The University also adopted Blended Learning to help students ensure their study process. In addition, the University are making policies to support all international students during their study at NEU.
