On the morning of March
1th, 2022, the National Economics University solemnly held the Opening ceremony
of the 1st course of the joint training program of the Bachelor of
Business between the University of Waikato, New Zealand, and the National
Economics University.
At the opening Ceremony,
on the side of National Economics University, there was Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham
Hong Chuong - NEU President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho - Secretary of the
Party Committee, Chairman of the School Council; together with leaders of units
in the University; staff, lecturers of Institute of International Trade and
Economics and 71 new students. On the side of the University of Waikato, New
Zealand, there was Prof. Neil Quigley – President; Mr. Matt Bolger – Pro-Vice-Chancellor of Waikato Management School; Ms. Nguyen Giang -
Southeast Asia Regional Manager; with representatives from the University of
Waikato.
At the opening ceremony,
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong - NEU President congratulated the first new
students of the Bachelor of Business program, majoring in Supply Chain
Management and Digital Business for passing the entrance examination and
starting the journey at the university. Additionally, he affirmed that being a
student in this training program would be an opportunity for Vietnamese
students to study in an environment with an International standard and receive
prestigious international bachelor's degrees.
The year 2021 was marked
the first year of the program. In 2022, the National Economics University
continues to enroll students for the second course with two majors in Supply
Chain Management and Digital Business in March and August.
