Recently, the university leaders had a meeting and worked with the delegation of the the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and Cardiff Metropolitan University.
In the morning of October 3, 2019, Assoc.Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong - President of the school had a meeting with Mr. Mark Billington - ICAEW Director of Southeast Asia. Attending the meeting, on the side of ICAEW, there was Ms. Dang Thi Mai Trang - ICAEW Representative in Vietnam. On the side of National Economics University, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Anh - Director of Institute of Accounting - Auditing; MSc. Pham Sy Long - Deputy Manager of International Cooperation Department.
At the meeting, Mr. Mark Billington - ICAEW Director of Southeast Asia congratulated the National Economics University students, especially the students majoring in Accounting - Auditing for their success in achieving the certificate Chartered Accountant the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. ICAEW is committed to helping students participating in training programs have the opportunity to develop careers in large businesses. Also at the meeting, Mr. Mark Billington said that ICAEW is expected to open more specialized bachelor program in the field of integrated CFAB certification by 2020.
On the same day, Assoc.Prof. Pham Hong Chuong also had a meeting with Prof. Leigh Robinson - Vice Rector of Cardiff Metropolitan University (UK). Also attending the meeting were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Anh - Director of Institute of Accounting - Auditing; Dr. Dao Thanh Tung - Head of International Cooperation Department.
At the meeting, the leaders of the two units discussed in detail the cooperation roadmap for the Ba Accounting and Finance International Training program (BIFA) granted by Cardiff Metropolitan University studying at the National Economics University.
Through the exchange and working session, the representatives of the two units wished to continue to promote cooperation through specific activities such as student and faculty exchange; participate in supporting teaching and research activities, expanding the training scale with the BIFA bachelor program.
After the meeting with leaders of the University, Prof.Dr. Leigh Robinson - Vice Rector of Cardiff Metropolitan University (United Kingdom) also had a meeting with lecturers and students of the Institute of Accounting and Auditing and visited the university's facilities.
