On the afternoon of April 10, 2019, Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat - NEU President welcomed and worked with the French delegation led by Ms Dominique WAAG - Director of the Department of University and Research - Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Europe.
Attending at the meeting, on the side of the French delegation were Mr. Denis Despréaux - Director of French Innovation Research and Employment; Prof. Bernard Legube - President of the Union of Universities and French Research Institutions for the development of USTH; Dr. Eric Molay - Associate in Scientific Cooperation and Training. On the side of National Economics University, there was also Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Chan - Senior Advisor of the Board of Directors of CFVG.
On behalf of the university’s leadership, Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat - NEU President welcomed the French delegation who visited and worked at the National Economics University. Prof. Dr. Tho Tho Dat said that in the past years, the university had always focused on expanding the cooperation with universities and educational institutions all over the world to improve the quality of training and research of the university. National Economics University had implemented joint programs with many French universities such as ESCP Europe, Paris Dauphine University, Lille University Nord De France or Strasbourg University ... He hoped that in the coming time, the University would have more opportunities to expand research cooperation and exchange training with other French universities and organizations.
On behalf of the French delegation, Ms. Dominique WAAG - Director of the Department of University and Research - Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the European thanked the reception of the university and Mrs. Dominique said that: “France attaches great importance to training and studying with Vietnamese universities, especially National Economics University. Dominique WAAG hopes that the two sides will continue to discuss and discuss future cooperation opportunities, especially the establishment of a large business administration training university in the region based on the development of French-Vietnamese Center for Management Training (CFVG)”.
