On November 22, 2018, Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat - NEU President had a meeting with Prof. Gareth Myles - Director of Institute of Economics, University of Adelaide, Australia.

At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat - NEU president welcomed the guests from the University of Adelaide, Australia visiting and working at National Economics University. The president also introduced history of university, also the development and outstanding achievements in the training, scientific research and international cooperation of the university. The president expected that the two universities would quickly implement cooperative activities based on the strengths of the two sides.
Also at the meeting, Prof. Gareth Myles - Director of Institute of Economics, University of Adelaide, Australia thanked the friendly and enthusiastic reception from National Economics University. He also expressed his honor to work, visit this beautiful and modern university. Prof. Gareth Myles wished to visit NEU more and hoped the two sides accelerate many activities as well as sign cooperation agreements in the near future.
At the meeting, two universities discussed and exchanged specific activities such as 1 + 1 masters program and 2 + 2 doctoral program.
