On the morning of June 1,
2022, School of Advanced Education Programs (AEP) held a
public seminar "Developing human resources for information technology and
digital transformation in the context of the industrial revolution 4.0".
Attending the seminar, on the
side of the delegates outside the school were Mr. Tran Xuan Khoi - General
Director of VTI Company; Mr. Nguyen Thac Tam – Deputy General Director
of Co-operative bank of Viet Nam; Mr. Nguyen Hong Minh – Director of
Modern Joint Stock Company; Ms. Vu Thi Thu Huong - Training Director of Aptech.
On the side of National Economics University (NEU), there were Prof. Dr. Pham
Hong Chuong – NEU President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong - NEU Vice
President; Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat – Chairman of Science and Training
Council, Head of the Management Board of AEP; Dr. Vu Van Ngoc
– Dean of School of Advanced Educational Program; with members
of Science and Training Council; representatives for leaders of school
units, faculties, and centers in the whole university.
During his speech at the
opening of the seminar, Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong stated that, as one of the
leading universities in the country, National Economics University would like
to contribute a supply of human resources with high quantification in the
immediate and long-term for the cause of national modernization - modernization
and global integration.
The school assigned School
of Advanced Education Programs to coordinate School of
Information Technology and Digital Economics to build a high-quality
bachelor's training program "Information Technology and Digital Transformation"
at NEU. Moreover, the comments of employers on the training program also play
an important role in building a modern training program that best meets the
requirements of students after graduation. Professor Hieu hoped that today's
seminar would receive many constructive comments so that our university can
perfect and design a training program that best suits social needs. “This is
also an initial success in building the new training program” - Prof. Pham Hong
Chuong oriented.
In the context of Industrial
Revolution 4.0, the application of digital platforms is an inevitable trend,
which enhances competitive advantages and optimizes corporate governance.
Especially in the difficult situation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic,
regardless of the scale, without change and proper grasping of the latest
technological trends, it will be difficult for businesses to survive and
develop.
