On the morning of June 2, 2022, a public seminar “Training high-quality bachelors of Digital Marketing” took place at the National Economics University (NEU).

Attending the seminar, as regards delegates outside the school, there were Ms. Cao Thi Thanh Huyen - Deputy General Director of Viettel Digital Services; Ms. Tran Bao Chau - Marketing Director of Austdoor Group; Mr. Bui Sy Nguyen - CEO of House 3D and Metacity Company; Ms. Vu Kim Oanh - Chairman of the Board of Omega Group. As to National Economics University, there were Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Van Hoa - NEU Vice President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong - NEU Vice President; Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat - Chairman of Science and Training Council, Head of the Management board of School of Advanced Educational Program; Dr. Vu Van Ngoc - Dean of School of Advanced Educational Program; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vu Huy Thong - Dean of Faculty of Marketing; with members of Science and Training Council; together with leaders of departments, faculties, institutes and centers in the whole university; representatives from other universities and press agencies coming to participate and to report on the seminars.
In the context of the Industrial Revolution 4.0, the application of a digital platform is an unavoidable trend, which enhances competitive advantages and optimizes marketing activities besides the traditional marketing. Especially in the difficult situation caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, regardless of the scale, without change and proper grasping of the latest technological trends, it will be difficult for businesses to survive and develop.
Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Van Hoa - NEU Vice President stated
During her speech at the seminar, Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Van Hoa declared :”The formulation of new training programs has always played a vital role in diversifying and expanding the fields/training programs of our University to accommodate social needs, which contributes to enhancing the position of our university in the context of international integration”. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Van Hoa affirmed that the further development of the Advanced Digital Marketing program under the Marketing major at the NEU is a step that has always been supported by the University's leadership, which is in accordance with the functions and tasks of the University. In addition, the further development of the Advanced Digital Marketing program is completely appropriate to the demand of our society and students; meets the requirements of supplying high-quality human resources serving the cause of national industrialization and modernization.
Experts asserted that digital technology is increasingly developing on a global scale. This is both a challenge and a favorable opportunity for the Vietnamese economy to take advantage of. Moreover, enhancing the quality of education and training of highly qualified and well-trained human resources, which have the capability to apply modern science and technology as well as digital technology solutions in the context of the new era, is an issue that must always be concerned.
During the Seminar, delegates, experts and scientists discussed the training needs, professional requirements of Digital Marketing as well as the curricula of the training programs and the output standards for Bachelors of Digital Marketing in the future. Hopefully, the constructive comments given at the seminar will help NEU formulate and perfect a training program that truly satisfies the social demand, which contributes to the training of high-quality human resources of Digital Marketing and serves the cause of national industrialization and modernization.
