On 17 February 2017, Prof. Iskandar Yuldachev - Associate Director of International Relations and Mr. Lam Le - Regional Manager of Solbridge International School of Business, Woosong University (Korea) took a visit to National Economics University. Attending the meeting, there were MA. Pham Sy Long - Deputy Director of International Cooperation Department, Dr. Phan Thuy Chi - Vice Dean and MA. Le Thi Huong Lan - Head of Cooperation and Development Board, International School of Management and Economics.
Established in 2007 under the motto "Paving the Way to a Stronger and Brighter Future", Solbridge International School of Business had produced top business leaders in Asia in business, politics, social activism and the military with not only hard skills but also important soft skills which provide them flexibility, understanding and interpersonal leadership skills to in order to deal with the fast growing and rapidly changing economy. Solbridge is the youngest institution to receive the AACSB accreditation and called Outstanding School by the Korea Ministry of Education.
On behalf of NEU, MA. Pham Sy Long warmly welcome delegates of Solbridge to visit NEU and hoped that they would have productive business trip in Vietnam. He stated that Solbridge was an unique business school in Korea and NEU would be willing to cooperate with Solbridge in research and training as well as exchange programs. Professor Iskandar highly appreciated the reputation of NEU in training economics and management in Vietnam. He also expressed his desire to discuss with NEU possible mutual projects and joint programs, such as BBA 2+2, MBA 1+1, Executive MBA programs and the like.
After the meeting, Professor Iskander delivered a talk about "Internationalization of higher education" to ISME students.
