In the afternoon of November 21st , 2019, a Ceremony of Cooperation Agreement between the National Economics University and L'Oréal Vietnam was held at the G Conference Hall - Building of Training Center. At the same time, there was a scholarship announcement of "L'Oréal Vietnam - Beauty for All" for students.
Attending the program, from L’Oréal Vietnam, there were Mr. Valery Gaucherand - General Director of L’Oreal Vietnam; Mr. Pham Manh Khoi - Human Resources Director; Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Tuyet Trinh - Communications Manager; Mr. Nguyen Hoang Bao Huy - Expert for Young Talent Development. From the National Economics University, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho - Vice-President; Dr. Bui Trung Hai – Deputy Head of Politic & Student Mangement; Dr. Truong Dinh Duc – Deputy Head of Communications; MSc Pham Sy Long – Deputy Head of International Cooperation; with a lot of students in the university.
At the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho shared that the National Economics University is the leading university in economics, management and business administration in Vietnam. Therefore, connecting students with businesses, especially the world's leading brands such as L'Oréal, is one of the University's training goals. In July 2019, the National Economics University and L'Oréal Vietnam officially signed a Memorandum of Cooperation to establish a foundation of cooperation between the two sides in training skills and career orientation, awarding scholarships to students, recruiting trainees ... Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho hopes the cooperation between the National Economics University and businesses in general and L'Oréal Vietnam, in particular, will be increasingly developing.
Mr. Valery Gaucherand - General Director of L'Oreal Group in Vietnam talked about L'Oreal effort in pursuit of sustainable development worldwide. He said “We are all aware that the earth today is facing a lot of serious and urgent problems: Lack of food and nutrients, inaccessibility to water resources, climate change, deforestation, lack of technology, health systems, pollution, ... Why do we have so many problems? What role do businesses play in solving these issues? Many experts think that to truly solve today's challenges, we have to think differently, and that is the only way we can make a big leap forward in overcoming the problem. The answer is that businesses must find solutions for sustainable development, more environmentally friendly.”
The sharing session is a special opportunity for students to understand new challenges in the current business environment, as well as prepare to succeed at multinational corporations.
