On the afternoon of November 9th, 2021, National Economics University with the Chinese Embassy held an online lecture on the topic: "Culture, economy and scholarship opportunities in China" on the Microsoft Teams platform which attracted more than 200 lecturers and students.
At the lecture, on the side of the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam, there was Mr. Peng The Doan - Cultural Visitor of the Chinese Embassy. On the side of the National Economics University, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong - NEU Vice President; Dr. Dao Thanh Tung - Head of International Cooperation Department; together lecturers who have been studying in China and more than 200 students currently studying at the University.
At the lecture, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong - NEU Vice President thanked Mr. Banh The Doan for attending the lecture and sharing with NEU students. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong said the lectures strengthened the relationship between the National Economics University,the Chinese Embassy and Chinese universities, gave students a better understanding of Chinese culture and economy and opened opportunities for students to attend exchange programs.
At the lecture, Mr. Peng The Doan - Cultural Visitor of the Chinese Embassy expressed his joy and honor to have the opportunity to exchange and share the development of Chinese culture and economy with teachers and students of National Economics University. At the same time, he provided students valuable information about scholarship opportunities in China.
It is known that National Economics University has cooperated with many leading universities in China such as: Beijing Central University of Finance, Wuhan University, Beijing Polytechnic University, Ha Tay Pedagogical University. Annually, both sides organize many studying and working exchange programs for teachers and students. For instance, from 2015 to 2019, National Economics University organized summer lectures for NEU students to study at Guangxi University within 2 weeks. In addition, the school organized Vietnamese classes for thousands of Guangxi students.
