On the afternoon of August 13 , 2018, Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat - President of the National Economics University had a meeting and working with the Excellent Long-Established University Consortium of Taiwan and signed a Memorandum of Agreement. This is an important milestone marking a new step in promoting the international cooperation of the university.
Attending the meeting , there were Mr. Chen Jen Kwei - President of the University of Shih Chien; Mr. Liu Kuo Wei - Vice President of Ming Chuan University; Mr. Chen Hsiao Chuan - Head of International Cooperation Department, Tam Kang University; Mr. Lee Yung Lung - Assistant Professor, Institute of International Studies, Providence University; Mr. Kuo Cheng Kuo - Head of International Cooperation, Chinese Culture University; Mr. Fu Sheng Shih - Head of Center for International Affairs, Soochow University;
From NEU, there were Dr. Dao Thanh Tung - Head of International Cooperation; Dr. Dang Anh Tuan - Vice Dean of School of Banking and Finance; Mr. Pham Sy Long - Deputy Director of International Cooperation Department; along with teachers of the university.
Welcoming the Taiwan delegation to NEU, Prof. President was delighted to inform the success of Fintech Program in the cooperation between NEU and Asia University, Taiwan. Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat looked forward to enhancing continuous cooperation with Taiwan universities through the MOA signed that day.
At the ceremony, the representatives of the Excellent Long-Established University Consortium of Taiwan, Mr. Chen Jen Kwei - President of University of Shih Chien thanked for the warm welcome of President. Tran Tho Dat. He also expressed his honor to visit NEU, one of the leading university in the field of Economics, Management and Administration.and hoped to be a strategic partner with the university.
The MOA focuses on promoting the following cooperation: student exchange, joint research, joint training programs, summer programs, short courses, etc.
