From 21st to 24th May 2019, the delegation of NEU Center for Social Innovation and Entrepreneur (CSIE) led by Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat - NEU Party Committee Secretary and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Truong Thi Nam Thang - Director of NEU CSIE visited and worked with Center for Social Innovation, Trinity College Dublin (CSI-TCD), Ireland.
With the aim of developing 2019 cooperative activities under the Vietnam-Ireland Bilateral Education Exchange (VIBE) Program funded by Irish Aid with the goal of accelerating innovation for the social business model of the two countries, the two parties (NEU CSIE and TCD) discussed their further collaborative opportunities. On 22nd May, the NEU delegation had a meeting with Ms. Clodagh O'Reilly-Chief Executive, Recreate Ireland, Mr. Paul O’Sullivan - CEO of Social Financial Fund, Clann Credo and Vice Chairman of Global Relation, Trinity College Dublin.
On 23rd May, the NEU delegation participated in 2019 Business and Technology Forum organized at Business School, Trinity College Dublin to exhibite and introduce the digital map of social impact enterprises in Vietnam (imapvietnam.org) with positive feedbacks of the participants. Then, NEU delegation witnessed the historical time of TCD that Ireland’s Prime Minister Leo Varadkar unveiled the new building of the School of Business. Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat, on half of NEU, presented gift and congratulate Prof. Andrew Burke - President of TCD Business School.
In addition, the NEU delegation had other activities such as working with project’s coordinator, visit innovation space at UCD and TCD, thus created further cooperative opportunities in research and training.
