On the morning of March 4, 2019, Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat - NEU president met and worked with Ms. Jane Close Conoley - President of University of California, Long Beach, USA .
Attending the meeting, there were Mr. Jeet Joshee - Vice President of University of California, Long Beach, USA. On the side of the National Economics University, there are Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong - NEU Vice President l; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong - Director of Center for Advanced Educational Programs; Dr. Dao Thanh Tung - Head of International Cooperation Department; Dr. Luong Thu Ha - Vice Director of Center for Advanced Educational Programs; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Thi Tuyet Mai - School of Trade and International Economics; Dr. Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc - School of Trade and International Economics.
At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat - NEU President highly appreciated the long-term relationship between National Economics University and University of California, Long Beach, USA. He said that because of the establishment of the Advanced Program in Finance and Accounting, the National Economics University had collaborated with Long Beach University to develop a program framework for inclusion in the training program starting in 2006. These are two specialties that have received the attention of numerous students of National Economics University, which has brought great success for Center for Advanced Educational Programs. Along with that, graduates are always highly appreciated by employers. In the coming time, National Economics University continues to apply the International Business Program of Long Beach University to implement the Advanced International Business specialization program in 2019.
At the meeting, NEU President thanked the University of California, Long Beach for facilitating the university’s teaching staff during the time the faculty members of the University study at the University of California in the past summer.
Also in the meeting, leaders of the University of California thanked the National Economics University for welcoming the students of the university to exchange at the National Economics University in early 2019. With that, The two sides discussed opportunities and potential cooperation programs in the future such as Logistics.
