EMBA program contract signing ceremony between UQAM and NEU
From 21-27/8/2017, Assoc Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong - NEU Vice President accompanied by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dam Quang Vinh, Dr. Dong Xuan Dam and M.Sc Duong Van Bay visited several universities in Canada and signed the memorandum of understanding on student and lecture exchange, joint research projects and blended learning model which is accepted by most of Canadian universities.

National Economics University and Business School ESG (École des Sciences de la Gestion) of Québec University at Montréal (Université du Québec à Montréal) signed the cooperation agreement on launching the EMBA program in Hospital Management and Real Estate Management at International School of Management and Economics of National Economics University. Master program - EMBA is ranked 7 of Canada and 23 of North America in 2016 by Eduniversal. It brings NEU lecturers and students opportunity to approach advanced program and teaching methods.
At the ceremony, Prof. Robert Proulx - President of Québec University of Montréal asserted that UQAM and NEU shared the same core values and a long-term cooperation in DIREG project which funded by CIDA, which was a solid foundation for future cooperation between the two sides.
Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong shared that National Economics University just celebrated the 60th anniversary last year, which marked a milestone in its development. He appreciated UQAM and ESG leader group, especially Prof. Stéphane Pallage - President, Prof. Benoit Bazage - Vice President and Ph.D. Trinh Hong Loan - lecturer at Law Faculty for their support for initiation of EMBA program.
After the ceremony, National Economics University delegation visited faculties and facility management department of UQAM; supporting service system managed by UQAM Student Union.
NEU delegation also visited Dalhousie University and Saint Mary’s University at Halifax City (Nova Scotia) to discuss cooperation in postgraduate programs applied Blended Learning method. In the working session, Assoc. Prof. Ph.D. Dam Quang Vinh - Head of Distance Education Department of National Economics University presented the frame and demand of distant or blended education at National Economics University, which would be the basis idea of cooperation between 3 universities in the coming time.
