From 13 to 22 December 2016, NEU delegation led by Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat - President visited partners in Netherlands and France. Joining the delegation are Prof. Dr. Hoang Duc Than - Dean of School of Trade and International Economics, Assoc Prof. Dr. Le Trung Thanh - Dean of Graduate School, Assoc Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong - Director of Center for Advanced Educaional Programs (AEP), Assoc Prof. Dr. Tran Van Thuan - School of Accounting and Auditing. At Netherlands, the delegation took a visit to Saxion University of Applied Sciences. Saxion University is one of reputed public universities in Netherlands with 2 campuses located in Deventer, Enschede and Apeldoorn. Currently, Saxion has more than 22.000 students inlcuding 2500 international students from 55 different countries over the world. At the meeting, two sides had discussed and agreed to sign agreement on transfering students of NEU Advanced Programs to Saxion University. According to the agreement, students studying Finance - Accounting at AEP would have chance to get scholarships to study their last year in Saxion and receive Saxion degree. Besides, NEU and Saxion reached agreement on student and staff exchange with the aim to provide lecturers, students with opportunities to exchange experiences in teaching and researching.
In France, the delegation visited L'Université Paris Nanterre (Paris X) and L'université Paris-XII to discussed the cooperative potential and opportunities in joint education programs 3+2 and 4+1 in which NEU students would study bachelor program (3 or 4 years) at NEU and study master program in France (2 or 1 year).
