Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat, President of National Economics University had a meeting with Prof. Alex Pierre Hendrik Vanderstraeten, Head of Human Resources Management and Organization Behavior , Faculty of Business and Lawr at Ghent University, Belgium.
Overview of the meeting
The meeting was held in the morning 04/12/2017 at National Economics University with the presence of Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat, President of National Economics University; Prof. Alex Pierre Hendrik Vanderstraeten, Head of Human Resources Management and Organization Behavior Major , Faculty of Business and Lawr at Ghent University, Belgium.; Assoc Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hieu, Dean, Faculty of Business Management; MA. Pham Sy Long - Deputy Head of International Cooperation Department; and Dr. Luong Thu Ha - Deputy Director of Center for Advanced Programs.
To welcome Prof. Pierre Hendrik Vanderstraeten, Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat had briefed about the history of National Economics University and he also mentioned that one of the most important strategies of National Economics University is to extend international cooperation and global education integration. He shared that NEU's partners in Belgium were truthful and he hoped two universities could develop the collaboration in research, students exchange and joint programs with Ghent University in Belgium.
Prof. Alex Pierre Hendrik Vanderstraeten claimed that National Economics University was the first university in Vietnam that he had visited and he appraised the reputation of the university. He expressed the hopeto send his students to National Economics University to research and exchange,operate 2+2 joint education programs. And he wished that National Economics University and Ghent University partnership would start with the signature of MOU.
