On the afternoon of July 26, 2022, University of Waikato Vice-Chancellor Professor Neil Quigley visited and worked at the National Economics University.
Working
with the delegation, as regards National Economics University, there
were Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong - NEU President; Dr. Dao Thanh Tung –
Head of Department of International Cooperation; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ta Van
Loi - Dean of School of Trade and International Economics; Dr. Dinh Le Hai Ha - Deputy Dean of School of Trade and International Economics.
At
the meeting, Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong - NEU President affirmed that
the cooperative relationship between the National Economics University
and the University of Waikato has been developing very well. Both sides
have jointly signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in 2020
and Agreement on Joint Training for Bachelor of Business with majors in Supply Chain Management and Digital Business in
2021, thereby organizing other effective cooperative activities and
providing many new opportunities for students of National Economics
University.

University of Waikato Vice-Chancellor Professor Neil Quigley said
that this visit has opened many new and potential cooperation programs
between the National Economics University and the University of Waikato,
and he also hoped the seminars and the exchange will create many
positive impacts in bilateral activities, which encourages the spirit of
collaboration of both sides.
At
the meeting, leaders of the two universities also exchanged and
discussed in depth the training programs between the Institute of
International Trade & Economics and the University of Waikato;
looked for opportunities to enhance the quality of human resource
training of NEU by sending lecturers to study and train at the
University of Waikato, as well as discuss the plan to open a new joint
training major in Finance - Banking.
