On November 26, 2018, Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat -NEU President awarded the logo of contribution to the program "Global CEO Academy Vietnam - Korea for Dr. Lee Young Gie". This is the activity to recognize the contribution of Dr. Lee Young Gie for the development of the Global CEO Academy Program and promoting the collaboration of the National Economics University with Korean partners.
Attending the meeting were Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Thang - Director of Asia-Pacific Institute of Management; Prof. Dr. Le Quang Canh - Deputy Director of Asia-Pacific Institute of Management; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoai Dung - Deputy Dean of Faculty of Business Management; Pham Sy Long - Deputy Director of Department of International Cooperation; along with officers and lecturers of the university.
National Economics University and Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) have worked closely for many years, especially in the framework of the program for sending KOICA experts to Vietnam. Asia-Pacific Institute of Management receives TS. Lee Young Gie works at the Institute from 02/12/2015 to 30/11/2018 as the director of "Global CEO Academy" program.
In the last 3 years, Dr. Lee Young Gie has developed the Global CEO Academy program into a widely recognized program, especially for CEOs in the Korean business community in Vietnam and the Vietnamese business community in partnership with Korean businesses. With successful courses, programs and individuals. Lee Young Gie brought a good image of NEU to the business community, developed a strong network of CEO alumni, strengthened the cooperation of Korean business associations with the University, offered scholarship and career opportunities. The university has a strong student relationship with KOICA.
With the contributions of Dr. Lee, the Asia-Pacific Institute of Management has proposed to the Board of Directors to review and issue a Certificate of Recognition of Dr. Lee Young Gie for the development of the Global CEO Academy Program and promoting the collaboration of the National Economics University with Korean partners.
