On 30 May 2017, students of National Economics University and Millennia Institute had a friendly cultural exchange.
Speaking at the exchange, Dr. Dao Thanh Tung - Director of International Cooperation Department warmly welcomed lecturers and students of Millennia Institute to visit and participate cultural exchange with NEU students. National Economics University is the leading university in training economics, management and business administration in Vietnam, which had celebrated the 60th anniversary last year. It always focuses on international collaboration especially in student exchange, joint training and research. Singapore is one of developed countries with advanced education in the region, which is the typical example for Vietnam in general and NEU in particular to folow. Dr. Dao Thanh Tung gave the best wishes to Millennia group and hoped that they would have an interesting meeting at NEU.
Millennia Institute representative thanked to NEU for its warm welcome and believed that students of both sides would have great time together during the exchange. Established in 2004, Millennia Institute is the only government educational institution offering the 3-year pre-university course leading to GCE A-level certification. It provides courses in Business (Economics, Management of Business, Principles of Accounting), Mathematics and Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics), Humanities (Art, Geography, History) and the like.
During the exchange, students of NEU and Millennia made presentations on Vietnam and Singapore culture, tourism and economy. The presenters gave all participants the overal information about each country with creative view.
They also joined the game "Rolling in the dish" in which Singaporian students tried to make "Pho cuon".
