On the morning of November 27th, National Economics University collaborating with the Research Institute of Sustainable Development and Management organized the National Conference “Future Solutions” with the aim of finding potential entrepreneurs and start-ups. The Final Round was successfully organized with the participation of 32 typical teams throughout the country.
At the program, on the side of the guests, there were Mr. Pham Hong Quat, Director of the Department of Market and Enterprise Development; Ms. Nguyen Phuong Linh - Director of the Research Institute for Management and Sustainable Development; Ms. Tran Van Anh - Director of MSD Institute/ United Way Vietnam; The Judge Council and 32 competition teams. On the side of National Economics University, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong - Vice President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Huong Lan - Deputy Director of Center for Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation and representatives of units in the university.
At the program, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong - Vice President gave compliments to 32 competition teams in the final round on coming up with creative solutions to problems in society, especially in remote areas, meeting the goal of sustainable development and creating livelihoods for people in remote areas. Outstandingly, many projects innovatively adopted technology to solve community problems and social challenges.
At the program, Ms. Nguyen Phuong Linh congratulated 32 teams reaching the final round after overcoming the semi-finals, conferences, intensive training. Additionally, she assured the aim of the contest did not only focus on technology and profit possibilities but also innovative ideas about sustainable development.
Assoc.Prof.Dr. Do Huong Lan, Deputy Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation said that National Techfest organized 5 days of in-depth consulting for competition teams on business models with each detailed component, common mistakes of businesses in determining true core values, customer segments, marketing strategies to bring products to market, as well as the in-depth fundraising skills. Experts have provided specific and direct advice on each project to help start-ups effectively operate their businesses as well as attract investors.
After this event, National Economics University will continue to organize conferences to connect potential start-ups with investors in the near future. .
