On the April 27th 2018, Assoc. Prof. Pham Hong Chuong, NEU Vice President had a talk with Mrs. Virginie Bleitrach - Deputy Director of Development Agency France (AFD).
From AFD, there were Mrs. Virginie Bleitrach - Deputy Director of Development Agency France (AFD), Dr. Nguyen Huong Que- Expert in GEMMES Vietnam project of AFD. From NEU, there were Dr. Dao Thanh Tung- Director of International Cooperation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. To Trung Thanh - Head of Scientific Management Office; MSc. Bui Duc Dung - Director of Administrative Office; Dr. Bui Trung Hai - Vice Director of Politics and Student Management ; Dr. Truong Dinh Duc - Deputy Director of Communication Department; MSc. Nguyen Nhat Linh, Secretary of the Youth Union; Assoc.Prof.Dr Dinh Duc Truong - Deputy Dean of Faculty of Environment and Urban; Assoc. Prof. Vu Thi Hoai Thu - Lecturer, Faculty of Environment and Urban (Expert in climate change).
Giving a speech at the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Pham Hong Chuong expressed his joy when the delegation of AFD spent time paying a visit and working at the school. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong expressed his gratitude to Virginie Bleitrach and AFD for choosing the National Economics University as the coordinating unit to organize activities within the framework of the GEMMES Vietnam project. Assoc.Prof Pham Hong Chuong hoped the meeting would be the basis for cooperation between the two institutions in the future.
Also, Mrs. Virginie Bleitrach shared that the French Development Agency (AFD), a state agency that has been working for more than 75 years to alleviate poverty and create conditions conducive to sustainable development. AFD implements the policy developed by the French Government. Mrs. Virginie Bleitrach gave a big thank to the leaders of the National Economics University and Assoc. Prof. Pham Hong Chuong in particular for supporting AFD to organize activities within the framework of the GEMMES Vietnam project. Mrs. Virginie Bleitrach hoped that there would be more cooperation between the two in the future.
