In this newsletter, the Marketing Team at CMU Australia (CMU-A) would like to update what's on at CMU-A and the generous support we are providing for future students.
Highlights of this month's update include the new opening of January 2021 intake and the generous scholarship offers up to 60% of the tuition fees.
Given the current economic and health situation due to the COVID pandemic, a Master’s degree from CMU, be it in IT Management (MSIT), Business Intelligence and Data Analytics (MSIT-BIDA) or Public Policy and Management (MSPPM), is even more vital. A degree from CMU Australia can ensure that graduates are trained to cope with the existing challenges and uncertainties facing the global economy as well as capable of becoming highly skilled leaders, ready to face new challenges in the future.

January 2021 Intake is open for admissions application
CMU Australia (CMU-A)is pleased to inform you that the new admission process for those who wish to commence their studies in the January 2021 intake has now been opened.
Applications are made via CMU'sOnline Application Portal. Visit the Apply page from CMU-A's website tofindall the information you need to consult your prospective studentsabout the application and selection process.
TheEntry Requirementsfor CMU Australian based master's programs remain unchanged, you may want to remind yourself with the key items below:
- Bachelor’s degree with school transcripts (Verification via 3rd party required)
- Resume
- Personal statement
- Two Letters of Recommendations
- English Languages Test:
- IELTS Overall 6.5 with no band less than 6; or
- TOEFL with a minimum of 22 in each band.
- Standardised (Math) Test Scores: GRE minimum 300, or GMAT minimum 600
- Three Years of Professional Work Experience (for 12-month program applicants only)
- Programming background such as C, C++ or Java (for MSIT/MSIT-BIDA programs only)
There is NO APPLICATION FEE applied for all CMU-A's programs.
The Deadline for Application Submission is 15 September 2020.

Policy Frontiers Scholarship valued 60% of the Tuition fees
In response to COVID-19, CMU-A will continueto grant the most generous scholarship ever- Policy Frontiers Scholarship - tostudents who apply for and be admitted toMaster of Science in Public Policy and Management (MSPPM) starting inJanuary 2021.
Policy Frontiers Scholarship was initiated to encouragehigh achieving students who seek to gain valuable knowledge and skills inpolicy and management at CMU-A and plan to be at frontiers of global change. It is valued 60% of the tuitionfees, equivalent to AUD $55,848for a 2-year master's program, and AUD $47,367 for a 1-year one.

Scholarships for International Students of up to AUD $30,000
The following scholarships are available forinternational students from Asia, Latin America and Africa and apply for any full-time master's programs at CMU-A in January 2021, including Master of Science in Information Technology
Young Asian Leaders Scholarship (YALS)
The scholarship will enable Asian students to lead and contribute to the development of their countries and the Asian region after their studies.
Latin American Leaders for Change Scholarship (LALCS)
The scholarship will support Latin American students to become leaders to catalyse positive change in their respective countries.
Future Innovator Scholarship for Africa (FISA)
With this scholarship, ambitious African students will be encouraged to be leaders in innovation in the African region.
They are valued at AUD $30,000 for the duration of 21-month master's degrees, and AUD $20,000 for the duration of 12-month master's degrees.

New Student Portal
CMU-A has just launched a new one-stop-shopstudent portalAtAustraliato provide students withall the information a student might need prior, during, and after their study with us.
Once a student completes the enrolment procedure, instruction will be given for access to the student portal. Orientation information, resources and presentations will be featured here for studentsto access any time.

Hybrid Model at CMU Australia
South Australia, the home of CMU-A, is fortunate to be among the safest places in the world today. The Covid-19 virus has been effectively suppressed by a combination of effective public policies and high societal compliance. Since July 1, CMU-A has ended remote operations and is now delivering its classes in a hybrid manner (that is, in-person and remote live delivery).
The new hybrid model of teaching designed to deliver a seamless learning experience at CMU-A both in-person and by remote delivery.
With this model, studentscan expect the same high-quality courses with the same faculty through live video connection. Theyalso have the opportunity to schedule extra time with the professors,to connect with teaching assistants and to collaborate with fellow tartans.
Students will receive ample support from CMU-A staff and faculty as transitioning into thisexciting journey with us.
