On 16th January 2018, the meeting between NEU students and New Zealand students was organized at Room 1001, Building A2, National Economics University. Under "Understanding Southeast Asia 2018 study tour" program held by Southeast Asia Centre for Asia-Pacific Excellence, students would like to explore Southeast Asia's culture especially Vietnamese behavior and business environment as well.
From NEU, there were Dr Dao Thanh Tung - Director of Department of International Cooperation and 24 NEU students from diverse NEU programs. From New Zealand, There were Prof Malcolm McKinnon - Lecturer of Victoria University of Wellington, Prof Jane Gunn-Lewis - Lecturer of Arcadia University accompanied by 24 students from 7 different universities in New Zealand.
At the meeting, students had chances to exchange their knowledge and information about Vietnam-New Zealand history, culture, economic issues. Especially, they enjoyed the lecture by Dr. Dao Thanh Tung on Vietnamese Business Environment.
After an hour and a half for lecture and Q&A, students visited Pham Van Dong Library and NEU campus.
