On the morning of September 19th, 2023, National Economics University and Ngee Ann Polytechnic School, Singapore opened the "Overseas Immersion Programme" student exchange program for 2023 students from the two universities.
Attending the program, on the side of National Economics University, there were Assoc. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong - Vice President; Dr. Dao Thanh Tung, Head of International Cooperation Department; Dr. Le Viet Thuy - Director of ICT; and program officers. On the side of Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore, there were Ms. Cheng Yuen San and Mr. Paul Justine Yongzheng - School of Social Sciences and Humanities; Ms. Guo Weijia and Mr. Lee Chin Seng - InfoComm School of Technology; especially the presence of 106 students from two schools.

Opening remarks, Assoc. Dr. Bui Huy Nhien - Vice Rector welcomed delegates and students to attend the cooperation student exchange program between National Economics University and Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore in 2023. Assoc Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong affirmed that the program has become an effective link in building and tightening the sustainable and long-term relationship between the two units. Participating in the class, students are not only equipped with more knowledge and better understanding of an emerging and dynamic economy of Vietnam, but this is also a place where cultural colors are blended and marks a significant cooperation between NEU and Ngee Ann Polytechnic. Assoc Prof. Bui Huy Nhuong hopes that through the program, students will have a really meaningful and memorable time about the country and people of Vietnam.

The student exchange program between National Economics University and Ngee Ann Polytechnic is held annually with the purpose of providing knowledge about Vietnamese history, culture, economy and market, experiences about Vietnam and Singapore for students to participate. The program is designed to include classroom activities (presentations, workshops ...) and field trips, diplomacy, exploration and understanding of the economy and culture of Vietnam. Through the program, it will help students improve their awareness and understanding of economic, political and social issues of Vietnam and Singapore; improve English and soft skills as well as improve understanding of Vietnam-Singapore diplomatic relations.
