How you apply
If you have a good idea for a project and you have checked your eligibility using the checker above, then it’s time to submit an application.
To apply to the Green Recovery Challenge Fund, you must first register through the application portal and complete an Expression of Interest (EOI). The EOI will gather information about your project, the positive change it aims to create and the ability of your organisation to successfully deliver the project.
Successful applications will then be invited to submit a Full Proposal. This stage of the application will build on the information gathered by the EOI and requires greater detail about your project plan, the budget of grant funding being sought and the value for money your project will deliver.
All applications must be completed and submitted through the portal in English. Guidance on completing a proposal can be found on the Guidance page.
Have a great idea for a project that doesn’t fit into the themes described above? Future funding rounds will cover different themes and regions, so sign-up for updates to hear about future opportunities.
The closing date for submitting an EOI is 15 September 2020 at 12:00 BST.
Questions about the application process can be submitted by email up until 26 August 2020 at 12:00 BST. Answers will be published by 2 September 2020 and will be available on the website.
