In September 2016, the delegation of the National Economics University (NEU) led by Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat - President had a visit to University of Koblenz-Landau, Germany. On that occasion, NEU and Koblenz-Landau signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Academic Exchange including master program in “Entrepreneurship, Technology and Innovation Management – ETIM”.
“University of Koblenz-Landau is a dynamic institute and one of 22 German universities focusing on entrepreneuship. The cooperation between Koblenz-Landau and NEU will be taught by English and be the first program met the international standard in that field in Vietnam. It will reaffirm the leading position of NEU in Economics and Business Management in Vietnam”, said Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat.
After the signing ceremony, Prof. Dr. Felix Hampe and Prof. Dr. Harald Von Korflesch – Vice President of University of Koblenz-Landau, and NEU delegation had a short meeting to exchange their experiences in research and education in the field of entrepreneurship and role of university in entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Prof. Dr. Harald Von Korflesch said that Koblenz-Landau was awarded “Entrepreneurial University” within the framework of EXIST of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. The development strategy of Koblenz-Landau focused on developing entrepreneurship ecosystem, nurturing and promoting entrepreneurial culture via training, researching and technology transferring such as entrepreneurship design thinking, innovation lab,… University of Koblenz-Landau would be willing to collaborate and transfer its technology and experiences to NEU in the future.
In addition, the delegation also visited innovation lab and entrepreneurship design thinking at Koblenz, Landau and Munich.
