From 29th to 30th October 2018, National Economics University welcomed and worked with universities, businesses from Taiwan and Israel. International cooperation events have always been considered as the key activities to improve the capacity of faculty members ,students and to integrate with advanced education of the world.
Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat - NEU president welcomed and worked with Ms. Orly Fromer - Advisor of President of Tel Aviv University, Director of Academic and Business Development in Asia. Participating in the meeting, there was Mr. Pham Sy Long - Deputy Director of Department of International Cooperation. Both sides agreed to launch short-term training programs , summer programs and exchange students in the near future. In addition, Ms.Orly Fromer pledged to give scholarships to students and lecturers from National Economics University while studying at Tel Aviv University, Israel.
On 29st October, 2018, Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat - NEU President and Mr. Chris Chan - General Director of Decent Actuaries Co., Ltd from Taiwan jointly signed a memorandum of understanding. Decent Actuaries Co., Ltd is one of the few companies providing training and actuary services. The cooperation between the two sides gives students an opportunity to learn and experience real working environment. This is a valuable event since actuary is a new field in Vietnam.
