To improve training quality and promote academic cooperation, within the framework of a visit with Australian universities and educational partners, from March 26 - 27, 2024, the delegation of the National Economics University led by Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong – President, visited and signed a cooperation agreement with the University of Tasmania, Australia (UTAS).

The agreement marked a significant milestone, opening up many good and lasting cooperation programs between the National Economics University and the University of Tasmania in research and training in Economics and Business Agriculture, Land Management, and Resource Economics.
The main content of this cooperation agreement focuses on strengthening educational and research cooperation between the National Economics University and the University of Tasmania; academic exchange between students and lecturers at the two schools; cooperation in linking and transferring students in educational programs, including studying abroad, and developing high-quality advanced training programs; cooperating in scientific research and organizing seminars and discussions in professional fields belonging to the strengths of both sides.
The cooperation agreement creates many new opportunities for lecturers and students of the two schools in a dynamic, creative, and modern learning environment, creating conditions for development as well as cultivating knowledge and experience toward sustainable cooperation.

Immediately after the signing ceremony, the delegation of the National Economics University had in-depth working sessions with representatives of schools/ institutes of the University of Tasmania to discuss and concretize cooperative training and research activities according to the agreement.
