On 14th February 2017, the delegation of Indiana University including Prof. Dr. John D. Graham - Dean of School of Public and Environmental Affairs, Assoc Prof. Dr. Tran Ngoc Anh - Director of the Vietnam Initiative took a visit to National Economics University.
Attending the meeting, there were Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat - President, Dr. Dao Thanh Tung - Director of International Cooperation Department, Assoc Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho - Director of Scienctific Management Department, Assoc Prof. Dr. Ta Van Loi - Head of International Business, School of Trade and International Economics.
He used to taught at Havard University from 1990 to 2001 before being appointed to be the Administrator, Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs, Office of Managerment and Budget in 2001. Prof. Dr. John D. Graham is holding the position of Dean of Public and Environmental Affairs School (SPEA), Indiana University (Bloomington, USA). He Under Graham's deanship, SPEA's Master in Public Affairs Program on the Bloomington campus rose to No.1 out of 272 programs in the US News and World Report national survey. Throughout his tenure in academia, Prof. Dr. Graham has authored or coauthoured 10 books and more than 200 articles for academic journals and national publications.
Warmly welcome the delegation of Indiana University, Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat stated that NEU would be willing to welcome professors and scholars to work at NEU and share their knowledge as well as experiences with NEU staff and students. The President highly appreciated Professor Graham's dedication in education career and hoped that Prof. Graham would help connect NEU to Indiana University and SPEA. Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat also expected that Vietnam-Initiative would collaborate with NEU to boost scientific research and facilitate young reseachers.
After the meeting, Prof. Dr. John D. Graham delivered the lecture on "U.S. Politics from GW. Bush and Obama to Trump", capturing a lot of attention of NEU students and lecturers.
