On March 12, 2018, Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat - NEU President had a courtesy meeting with Delegation of The Humber Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning, Canada. Attending the meeting, from Humber College, there were Prof. Alister Mathieson - Vice-President, Advancement & External Affairs, Mr. Andrew Ness - Director of International Cooperation Department and Mrs. Paula Gouveia - Dean of School of Liberal Arts, and Science. From NEU, there were Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat - NEU President, Dr. Dao Thanh Tung - Director of International Cooperation Department and Assoc. Prof. Dr. To Trung Thanh - Director of Science Management Department.
At the meeting, Prof. Alister said that he was impressive when coming back NEU this time because of its positive changes. This time, Humber College would love to develop the cooperation with NEU by the following activities: 2+2 joint training programs, joint research, staff exchange, student exchange, capacity building and training English, etc.
Warmly welcoming the visit of the delegation of Humber College, Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat appreciated the idea of the joint training programs and other activities. He hoped that the two sides would promote various activities in many fields such as education, training, and research in the future.
