In the afternoon of 08/11/2023 at the National Economics University, an international scientific seminar was held with the theme "Migration in the Asia-Pacific region and its role in innovation development". The seminar was organized by the National Economics University through the Center for Entrepreneurship and Social Innovation in collaboration with the Institute of Demographic Research, the Academy of Sciences of the Russian Federation and the Institute of World Economics and Politics, Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences.

Opening remarks, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hieu - Vice President affirmed the importance of innovation to the growth of the economy of Vietnam as well as other countries. However, in order to promote innovation and innovation-based economic growth, Vietnam's internal resources are still limited, it is necessary to have policies to attract and use migrant human resources with science and technology qualifications as well as innovative entrepreneurs. Associate Professor and Vice President said that the attraction of foreign experts, especially experts and scientists of Russia - a country with strong science and technology in the world to help Vietnam improve its internal resources of science - technology and innovation is extremely necessary.

Many additional sharing related to the topic of the workshop from Russian scientists participating online was voiced during the discussion, In addition, delegates also discussed vigorously, raising new issues for the management of high-quality labor and migrant entrepreneurs.
