On the morning of March 22, 2019, Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat - NEU President had a meeting to welcome and work with Mrs. Molly Stephenson - Counselor of the Embassy of the U.S. Embassy in Hanoi.
Going with Mrs. Molly Stephenson - Cultural Counselor US Embassy in Hanoi also had Mrs. Duong Dien Hanh - Program Assistant - In charge of short-term exchange scholarship program and Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hanh - Program Assistant - In charge of Fulbright scholarship. On the side of the National Economics University, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Van Nam - Dean of the Law Faculty; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dinh Duc Truong - Dean of Environment and Urban Faculty; MSc. Pham Sy Long - Deputy Head of International Cooperation Department.
On behalf of the NEU’s leadership, Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat - NEU President expressed his pleasure to welcome Mrs. Molly Stephenson to visit and work at the University. At the reception, Prof. Dr. Tran Tho Dat gave a brief introduction on the history of formation, construction and development of the National Economics University, and also introduced the strengths and outstanding achievements in the training, scientific research and international cooperation of the University, especially the exchange and cooperation programs of the University cooperating with the U.S. universities such as 2 + 2 programs with the University of California, San Bernardino; a transition program with the University of California, Long Beach and a new program of collaborative Business Analysis with the University of California, San Bernardino ... The President desired to expand cooperation with US experts and experts, especially inviting Fulbright experts to work and teach at the National Economics University and hoped that many teachers and students of the University could receive Fulbright scholarships as well as other scholarships to develop your career later.
Ending the meeting with NEU President, Mrs. Molly Stephenson - Cultural Counselor of the U.S. Embassy in Hanoi had a meeting with lecturers and students of National Economics University to exchange opportunities studying in the United States and Embassy scholarships as well as Fulbright scholarships.
