On September 24th, 2021, the National Economics University successfully organized the seminar: "The impact of Covid-19 on Vietnamese enterprises – The perspective of businesses". The seminar attracted more than 500 delegates including experts and experts, scientists, economists, teachers, and students..
At the seminar, on the side of National Economics University, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Duc Tho - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the NEU Council; Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Van Hoa – NEU Vice President; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Huy Nhuong – NEU Vice President; Assoc. Dr. Nguyen Thanh Hieu - Head of Business Administration Faculty; with teachers and students. Besides, the seminar had the participation of three speakers including Dr. Tran Quoc Viet - CEO of Ecopark Group; Dr. Dinh Phuong Thao - CEO of Polyco Group; Mr. Phan Minh Chinh - Chairman of Prosport Company.
The main content of the seminar focues on the impact of the Covid-19 epidemic on Vietnamese businesses. Representatives of business leaders, economic experts, and scientists discussed the difficulties and challenges of businesses during the pandemic and offered solutions in the short and long term.
At the seminar, the delegates discussed the government’s recommendations about supporting businesses to overcome difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic.
Sharing at the seminar, Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Van Hoa – NEU Vice President mentioned the contributions of the National Economics University to solve economic problems such as investment policies to encourage economic recovery .... It is obvious that the Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted and has had a strong impact on enterprises in many fields in Vietnam.
The seminar provided a rich source of information from both research and practical perspectives for attendees. The seminar also helped the students to absorb more useful ideas and information about the economy and better understand the requirements of employers.
