On the morning of March 25, 2019, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong - NEU Vice President had a meeting and worked with the delegation of delegation of University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria and Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg
Attending the meeting, on the side of University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria were Dr. Gerald Reisinger - President; Prof. Dr. Andreas Zehetner - Vice President International Affairs; Prof. Dr. Berthold Kerschbaumer - Director of Institute of Information Communication; Prof. Dr. Peter Zeller - Head of Electrical Engineering and Dr. Berthold Kerschbaumer - Dean of school of Informatics / Communications / Media. On the side of Martin-Luther-University Halle-Wittenberg, Germany, there were Dr. Manja Hussner - Head of International Office; Dr. Klaus Schmerler - Faculty of Law, Economics and Business. On the side of the National Economics University, there are also Mr. Pham Sy Long - Deputy Head of International Cooperation Department.
On behalf of the University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Chuong was delighted to welcome the delegation to spend time visiting and working at the University. At the meeting, the vice president introduced briefly the history, strengths and training capacity and research of the National Economics University. He also emphasized that in Vietnam, the National Economics University was one of the oldest universities and the first university to provide economic training, management and business administration. He hoped that after this working session, the parties would continue to discuss and sign MOU soon.
At the meeting, the parties agreed on issues such as exchange of lecturers and students; joint research cooperation; cooperation in developing Erasmus+ program and developing training programs and short-term programs.
